Rapid Testing (Antigen) vs. (RT- PCR) testing?
Our anterior nasal swab COVID-19 RT- PCR testing is less invasive and is the high standard test for detecting SARS-CoV-2 and variants. No matter your vaccination status, PCR is the most accurate test. Unlike the PCR, the antigen test can only determine if you have an active virus in your body. The rapid test cannot detect small amounts of the virus or asymptomatic cases as accurately as the PCR test can. Rapid testing allows for greater chance for a false negative.
